So it can set the stage for the 3a mission. Activity4: Classify the questions and get the structure of the article. Part 1--The basic information of the singer Part 2--The achievements of the singer Part3--The story between the writer and the singer [Intention]: By classifying the questions in a concise way, students can intuitively and clearly understand the structure of the article. Activity5: Think about the questions (article contents) in 3a and take notes. Then understand the words and phrases in 3b. [Intention]: Think about how to write the article and take some notes to help students prepare before writing. Activity6: Take Jay Chou as an example to summarize how to write this article from content to structure and language. And give the students a checklist. [Intention]: Lead the students to explain the writing process and expressions with examples. Give the students a demonstration, and help the students to complete the writing task independently. And give students a checklist to help them check whether their articles meet the requirements and whether they miss key points. Help students understand what a well-formed and relatively well-developed article should look like. Activity8: Finish the tasks in Self Check. Task 1--Fill in the blanks with the correct words in the box. (Tip: Find the collocations.) Task 2--Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in brackets. (Tip: Find and circle the key words to identify which form to use.) Task 3--Make a list of the things you have done and the ones you haven’t done yet this week. Then ask two other students. [Intention]: The three taskss in Self Check help students to consolidate some key phrase collocations, the use of the simple past tense and the present perfect tense in different ways, and the use of the present perfect tense in verbal communication.
