教学目标
1. 能掌握以下词组的含义并加以运用:the Terracotta Army, the Great Wall , the Bird’s Nest, the Palace Museum。 2. 能熟练掌握并运用以下句型来表达: Have you visited … Have you been to … Have you seen … Have you tried … 能掌握并运用现在完成时谈论去过的中国的名胜古迹,并能用该结构谈论其他旅游的情况。
教学内容
教学重点: 1. 掌握本课的生词:the Terracotta Army, the Bird’s Nest。
2. 掌握本课的目标语言: Have you visited … Have you been to … Have you seen … Have you tried … 。
教学难点: 1. 指导学生运用本课的句法功能,谈论去过的景点和经历。
2. 听力训练,提高综合听说能力。
教学过程
Step 1: Lead-in show the pictures and ask :What famous places of interest in China have you been to Have you ever been to Beijing/Xi'an What do you know about them? Show the pictures of the Great Wall/the Bird’s nest /the Palace Museum/the Terracotta Army,then ask students: Have you ever been to/visited/seen... Match the pictures with the names in 1a. Use the pictures in 1a to make your own conversations. Step 2: Pre-listening Tell students that the student reporter is interviewing the foreign student.And ask them to guess what question the student reporter will ask the foreign student Show the questions that the student reporter may ask and ask students to read them first. Step 3: While-listening Listen to a student interviewing a foreign student. Check (√) the questions you hear in 1b. Listening tip1:Pay attention to the key words. 听力策略:听时关注关键词,如地名和食物。 Listen again and take notes in 1c. Listening tip2:Write down the first one or two letters. 听力策略:听时写下单词的第一或二个字母,听完再补充完整。 Listen again and complete the conversation. Step 4: Post-listening Let students fill in the blanks to retell the conversation. Ask students to make a conversation about their past experiences like the sample. Step 5: Summary Summarize the new words,sentences and grammar we have learned in this class.
