教学目标
1. 语言知识目标:认识并掌握本节课的生词,词组和句型。了解yard sale。 2. 语言技能目标:能够熟练掌握并运用所学句型“I’ve had...for/since... .”讨论自己拥有的物品或者是周围的物品,并且学会讲述如何处理身边的旧物品。 3. 情感态度目标:学会合理处理身边的旧物品,感受自己的旧物中带有的特殊含义以及旧物品给他人带来的价值与意义。
教学内容
教学重点: 学生认识并掌握本节课的生词,词组和句型并且能够灵活运用。
2. 现在完成时态的运用。
教学难点: 学生能够运用所学句型讨论自己拥有的物品以及周围物品,能够思考如何处理旧物品。 学生能过够正确使用现在完成时态,并且将现在完成时与过去式进行区分。
教学过程
Lead-in Teacher shows a toy bear and talks about the story behind this toy. Then ask students to talk about their special old things. Show a video about a yard sale so that students can know about it. Explain how American people in the video deal with old things at home and what a yard sale is. 2. Pre-listening (1) Show students the picture in 1a and ask them to find the things in the picture. (2) Ask students to talk about the things at their homes and how long they have had them by using the sentence structure “I’ve had ... ... for/since... .” 3. While-listening (1) Ask students to read the statements and circle keywords. (2) Listen and check (√) the facts you hear. (3) Check the answers in 1b. 4. Post-listening (1) Ask students to read the conversation in 1c. (2) Ask students to make conversations about other things in the picture above. 5. Work on 2a and 2b (1) Ask students to read the words in the box first. Teacher needs to explain “bread maker” and “scarf”. (2) Listen and check (√) the things Amy’s family are giving away and circle the things they are keeping. (3) Check the answers in 2a. (4) Ask students to listen again and try to know more about these old things, then fill in the blanks. (5) Check the answers in 2b. 6. Make conversations. Ask students to play Amy and her mom. Then suppose they are Amy, make conversations with mom. 7. Pre-listening Ask students to guess what Amy will do next. While-listening Listen and answer two questions: What does Amy want to do What things has Amy brought Check the answers. Read and fill in the chart. Check the answers. Post-listening Role-play the conversation in 2d. Take down some notes in 2d. Fill in the blanks and retell 2d. Check the answers Summary Summarize the old things we talked about in this class and the ways we can use to deal with them. 11. Homework Level A Role-play the conversation in 2d. Level B Make your own conversation with your partner to talk about how to deal with old things at home.
