Penguins are a kind of large birds that live in Antarctic(南极洲). They spend a lot of their lives in water in order to get food.
Laying the Egg
For many months each year, penguins live near the sea in large
groups. However, in May, the weather gets colder and ice covers large
areas of ocean. Each group moves many kilometers from the water. 1.___

The fathers put their eggs on top of their feet, under a special piece of
skin called the brood pouch.

For two months, the fathers keep the eggs safe and warm. They do

Why Live Near the River

How did rivers help people live in the past
Back in the pioneer days, people grew their own food, caught their
