写作指导:
本单元的写作任务是读后续写。读后续写要求在阅读完一篇350词左右的还未写完的文章之后,根据要求和提示把这篇文章未写完的部分补充完整。续写短文多以记叙故事类文章或夹叙夹议类文章为主,线索逻辑强,故事经常曲折跌宕。要求读写并重,阅读需要精确理解,续写需要大胆推断但不能偏离主题。续写步骤如下:
1.精读全文,确定线索。
精读全文首先要解决好五个W和一个H的问题,即理清人物(who)、地点(where)、时间(when)、事件(what)、原因(why)及怎样发展(how),然后根据关键词理清故事发展的线索。
2.构思情节,谋篇布局。
以原文结尾为起点,分析两段所给出的首句开头,按照原文中事件发生的逻辑性,得出各段的主旨大意,构思好情节发展,预测故事的结局,发展须符合情节内在的逻辑。
3.理清逻辑,优化语言。
结合文中画线的关键词语拟写草稿,展开丰富的联想和想象,紧紧围绕主题,按照情节的发展进行延续,写作手法上必须以记叙为主,描写上以动作描写为重心,情节的发展要合乎逻辑地推进。所续写的内容在主题、人物、线索及语言风格上要与原文保持一致,表现为上下文衔接自然,前后情节互相照应。

On a bright,warm July afternoon,Mac Hollan,a primary school teacher,was cycling from his home to Alaska with his friends.One of his friends had stopped to make a bicycle repair,but they had encouraged Mac to carry on,and they would catch up with him soon.As Mac pedalled(骑行) along alone,he thought fondly of his wife and two young daughters at home.He hoped to show them this beautiful place someday.
Then Mac heard quick and loud breathing behind him.“Man,that’s a big dog!” he thought.But when he looked to the side,he saw instantly that it wasn’t a dog at all,but a wolf,quickly catching up with him.
Mac’s heart jumped.He found out his can of bear spray.With one hand on the bars,he fired the spray at the wolf.A bright red cloud enveloped the animal,and to Mac’s relief,it fell back,shaking its head.But a minute later,it was by his side again.Then it attacked the back of Mac’s bike,tearing open his tent bag.He fired at the wolf a second time,and again,it fell back only to quickly restart the chase(追赶).
Mac was pedalling hard now.He waved and yelled at passing cars but was careful not to slow down.He saw a steep uphill climb before him.He knew that once he hit the hill,he’d be easily caught up and the wolf’s teeth would be tearing into his flesh.
At this moment,Paul and Becky were driving their car on their way to Alaska.They didn’t think much of it when they saw two cyclists repairing their bike on the side of the road.A bit later,they spotted what they,too,assumed was a dog running alongside a man on a bike.As they got closer,they realized that the dog was a wolf.Mac heard a large vehicle behind him.He pulled in front of it as the wolf was catching up fast,just a dozen yards away now.
