watch意为“观看、注视”。指长时间看某一活动的场面，如：看电视、比赛、表演、赏月等
look 强调发出看的动作，不注重结果，是一个不及物动词，带宾语时加at
see强调“看”的结果。指看见还是没看见。
read意为“看、读”。其宾语常是有文字的“书、报、杂志”等。

现在进行时
含义：用来表示现在正在进行或发生的动作；也可表示现阶段正在进行的动作。句子中有时有now、look 、listen 暗示用现在进行时。

时间标志词：
现在进行时的时间状语有now, at present, at the moment, these days,等或当句子中含有look, listen开头的词时，也用现在进行时。
现在分词（v+ing）的变化规则：
1.一般情况 直接加ing
2.以不发音的ｅ结尾的动词 去e加—ing
3.以重读闭音节结尾的动词，中间只有一个元音字母（以辅元辅结构结尾） 双写最后一个辅音字母再加—ing
