单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与自然“范畴下;本单元的主题是热爱自然,保护自然,在课标中对应人与自然主题语境下的自然生态和环境保护主题群,主题意义是了解我国以及世界基本地理知识,认识人类在征服自然改造自然的同时造成动物生存的艰难处境,树立动物保护和人与自然和谐相处的观念,践行保护行动。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:学习理解层面,完成本单元学习后,学生能够通过听、说、读、看、获取、梳理并整合语篇中人与自然、人与动物等相关信息并形成结构化知识。 目标b: 应用实践层面,学生能够根据情境,比较不同对象之间的异同,口述野生动物面临的问题、原因、施救措施及其目的和最新现状。 目标c:迁移创新层面,通过学习描写动物并发出保护倡议的说明文与倡议书相结合的写作手法,学生能运用新知介绍一种濒危动物。 目标d:迁移创新层面,完成本单元学习后,学生能深入思考人与自然的关系和动物保护的意义,提升意识并加入行动。 与核心素养的关系: 主题意义引导下的单元整体教学有效整合碎片知识,落实学科核心素养的重要途经,通过本单元的学习,在语言能力方面,学生能理解地理、自然等话题下的简单语言材料,具备一定的获取和归纳特定信息或关键信息的能力,能在生活中描述相关事实并表达观点,挑战极限的事例培养良好的品质,思维品种方面,通过比较,识别关键信息,分析和推断各种信息之间的关练和逻辑关系,发展学生的逻辑性思维。从不同角度理解人类改在自然的行为,独立思考并作出价值判断,发展学生的批判性思维,学习能力方面,认知策略和元认知策略在学习过程中得到进一步发展,自主学习,合作学习和探究学习的能力得到巩固。
整体教学思路及教学结构图 1.来源& 内容: 本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it !八年级下册的第七单元。本单元围绕传说与故事,让学生了解到中国民间神话传说和西方童话故事。学生能够借助how ,what , who , why等引导的疑问句完成故事的叙述,同时能够根据人物独白总结故事情节要点,根据故事情节发展合理续写故事结局。在讲故事的过程中学生如何讲熟悉的中国故事内容转变成为符合英语表达习惯和思维的语言是老师们应该注意的。同时每个寓言故事中都蕴含着大道理,学生在学完故事后充分理解故事背后蕴含的做人做事的道理,是本单元的情感目标 。 2.纵向知识关联: 功能: 形容词副词的比较级和最高级。 话题:Facts about the world 语言知识: 听懂关于地理和动物知识的语篇。 用大数字、比较级和最高级谈论关于地理和动物的话题。 使用形容词和副词的比较级和最高级去描述事物。 掌握much等词修饰形容词和副词的比较级以及as...as用于同级比较的用法。 读懂关于地理和动物知识的语篇,并根据内容划分段落、概括大意。 了解说明文的特点。 写一篇介绍鲸,如何保护鲸的说明文。 3.横向知识关联: (1 )八年级上册U3的语法是comparatives with -(i)er and more 八上U4的语法是Superlatives with -(i)est &most , irregular comparisons . 本单元刚好复习形容词和副词的比较级和最高级。 (2)七年级下U5谈论了zoo animals ,呼吁学生爱护动物、保护动物,本单元Section B部分保护濒危动物的话题是七下U5话题的延申。 教学结构图:
