It was summer, and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West.
We took a plane to Albuquerque, a big city in the state of New Mexico. We reached Albuquerque in the late afternoon. Uncle Paul, my dad's friend, picked us up from the airport and drove us up to his farm in Pecos.
His wife Tina cooked us a delicious dinner and we got to know his sons Ryan and Kyle. My dad and I spent the night in the guestroom of the farm house listening to the frogs and water rolling down the river nearby. Very early in the morning, Uncle Paul woke us up to have breakfast. “The day starts at dawn on my farm,” he said. After breakfast, I went to help Aunt Tina feed the chickens, while my dad went with Uncle Paul to take the sheep out to graze (吃草). I was impressed to see my dad and Uncle Paul riding horses. They looked really cool.
In the afternoon, I asked Uncle Paul if I could take a horse ride, and he said yes, as long as my dad went with me. I wasn't going to take a horse ride by myself anyway. So, my dad and I put on our new cowboy hats, got on our horses, and headed slowly towards the mountains. “Don't be late for supper,” Uncle Paul cried, “and keep to the track so that you don't get lost!”“OK!” my dad cried back. After a while Uncle Paul and his farm house were out of sight. It was so peaceful and quiet and the colors of the brown rocks, the deep green pine trees, and the late afternoon sun mixed to create a magic scene. It looked like a beautiful woven (编织的) blanket spread out upon the ground just for us.
注意: 1.续写词数应为 150 左右;
Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse.

I used to be the only child in the family. Everything changed when Tex was born, and I was ten at that time. It seemed to me that Tex got too much attention from Mom and Dad, and I constantly felt a sense of depression. However, my little six year old brother had no idea about that, sticking with me all day long, which sometimes really annoyed me.
Last week, I was creating a birthday book for Dad. I worked forever making each picture as perfect as possible. Every time I messed up, I started all over again, so the floor under the kitchen table was covered with half finished drawings.
“It's family chore time,” Mom announced. “And you're on laundry folding duty,” she told me.
“OK,” I said. “After that, I'll just put the finishing touches on Dad's present.”
“I can help, too!” said my little brother, Tex.
I felt a little uncomfortable. But Mom touched his head gently and said, “Of course, baby, you can.” Then she turned to me, “And, Anna, please always remember to move those papers from the floor to the recycling bin in the yard when you're done with your project.”
I folded the laundry as fast as possible. Just as I was about to get back to the birthday book, my friend showed up. After checking with Mom, we headed to the park. But as soon as we arrived there, the sky filled with giant gray clouds and rain started pouring down. I was upset as I headed back home, dripping wet. That's when my heart pretty much stopped. Right there, in front of the recycling bin, was a box full of wet through papers. And not just any papers ... I ran to rescue my birthday book drawings. But it was too late. As I picked up my once perfect pictures, they were totally ruined!
I cried, “Tex, how did they get out here in the rain?”
Nervously, he came out and said, “Sorry, but I meant to help. I heard what Mom said, and I did it for you. But I had no idea why your birthday book was in those papers.”
注意:1.续写词数应为 150 左右;
Needless to say, I was going to explode.

Eggs, bacon, bagels, and croissants (羊角面包)—her favourite meal of the day sat right in front of her telling her to have more, probably just this one day. Her hand reached out for the last croissant. “ STOP,” said her mind; “PLEASE,” begged the nineteen year old heart. Annie could feel the tyres around her waist, weighing her down, emotionally and physically. She pulled her hand back, eyeing the inviting croissant, which would have been hers, if only she had not decided to follow her dream, a dream which seemed beyond her reach.
But there she was. She wanted it, and wanted it badly, a fantasy of a teenager to fit into the beautiful peacock blue swimsuit. A trip had been planned, to the sunny beaches, by a group of friends, and the trip included her. She used to sit depressedly, listening to her slim friends discuss about the kind of clothes they purchased, and how smart each of their skirts was, and how beautiful they looked. She wanted to see their expressions change from surprise to admiration, so she decided to go on a diet and take fitness courses.
Weeks passed, and her patience started to die away. The fat was stubborn and refused to melt fast, but the time went fast. No matter how less she ate, she still looked awfully plump (胖乎乎的), which annoyed her, and she was ready to call it quits. She sat on her bed and wept the entire evening, ignoring her dinner. Her tears dried up, and she lay down on her bed staring at the ceiling, letting random thoughts pass through her mind. Then she heard two women talking outside her window. She heard one woman saying, “My child is special, and every child is a gift. It doesn't matter what's on the outside, and the inner self is what matters. ”
注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;

There were a lot of tourists, among whom were some foreigners. I climbed for a few hours with perseverance and eventually reached the desired destination. I know you are eager to visit the Great Wall, so I recommend you enjoy its beauty in the near future. I'm convinced that it will bring you a different travel experience. Best wishes !

Suddenlyalittlerabbitjumpedoutinfrontofmyhorse. Its abrupt appearance scared my horse, making it run off the track wildly. I spared no efforts to hold on as hard as I could and my dad was trying to keep up, extremely worried about my safety. Fortunately, minutes later, the horse stopped before a river, out of breath. Relieved, we looked around trying to find the track. However, it was nowhere to be found. So aimlessly did the frightened horse run that we got lost unconsciously.
Wehadnoideawherewewereanditgotdark. Nothing in sight was familiar and neither did we know where the farm house was. Just at the point of desperation, from the distance came a faint voice. “It must be Uncle Paul,” I exclaimed excitedly. That we didn't come back for dinner made him realize something unusual might have happened. So my uncle went out to look for us. Finally, we reached our uncle's farm house safe and sound.
第一节
答案:
Wildlife plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of nature and preserving biodiversity. Wildlife is also an important part of human culture. We humans need to live in harmony with wild animals and plants.
To celebrate Endangered Species Day 2023, we'll put up posters, create short videos, and hold lectures and knowledge contests to raise our awareness of protecting endangered species, which will be welcomed by teachers and students.
I think we should reduce demands for wildlife products by not purchasing them. More importantly, severe laws must be carried out to punish whoever destorys endangered wildlife.

Tex smiled and suggested that we do something together for Dad's birthday.
WetwodecidedtomakeonebigpresentforDad.We began to prepare and discussed how we could make Dad feel surprised and touched. Tex was really creative and came up with some unique ideas that surprised me. Throughout the process, I was happy that Tex and I could work together and complete the special present. In the end, Dad really appreciated the thought and effort we put into his present. I learned that working together as a family can create some of the best memories.

Curious, Anniegotupandlookedoutofherwindow. There, sitting by the woman's feet, was a boy playing with a Rubik's Cube, his face twisting with each turn of the cube and his eyes fixed on the colourful object. Despite his plain face, there was something angelic about this boy when he showed his mother the finished cube. The mother smiled at him as if he had been the most handsome boy in the world.
Annieturnedhereyesawayfromthesceneandsawherownfigureinthemirror. Yes, she was plump and her face was chubby. But she was healthy and her skin was rosy. With loving starry eyes and curly hair, she looked almost like some lady from a classic portrait. Mum once said when she played Beethoven on the piano in her purple dress, she looked like a real princess. She smiled at her reflection, first uncertainly and then with more confidence. She made a new decision. She would throw her “dream” into the dustbin. After all, a girl doesn't have to fit into a swimsuit to be beautiful.
