anything 用作复合不定代词，表示“任何东西;任何事物”，常用于否定句或疑问句中，用以代替 something.

②该句是一个含有一般过去时态的特殊疑问句，其中be动词was是is的过去式。在英语中，句子发生的动作或存在的状态发生在现在以前，即过去的时间里，句子要用一般过去时态。此类句型结构为：特殊疑问词＋was/ were＋主语＋其他？be动词用was或were则由主语决定。
