My Hobby
Most students have their hobbies , such collecting stamps , reading , drawing ,growing vegetables , looking after animals and so on . Some hobbies are relaxing and others are creative . Hobbies are very important to us . They can make us grow as a person , develop our interests and help us learn new skills.My hobby is reading.
When I was young, my mother often told me a story before I went to bed. The stories were very interesting, but I felt they weren’t enough, so I began to read books by myself. I spend most of my spare time reading books. As a result, I became interested in reading. I can learn a lot from books. By reading, I can also improve my writing.

My Classmate’s Hobby
Everyone has his or her own hobby and so does my classmate. His hobby is listening to music.
When he was a child, he enjoyed listening to music very much, especially classical music. Nowadays he spend most of his spare time enjoying music. He also share the music he like with his family and friends. It really brings him much pleasure. When he is in trouble, music can make him calm down. When he is very tired, it can make him relaxed. When he feels angry with something, it can also make him happy again. Listening to music keeps him in a good mood and it's good for his health.
Different people have different hobbies, of course. I hope our hobbies will make us grow as a person and help us have a better future.

或短语来充当。

二、谓语
谓语(谓语部分的主要的词)必须是动词。作谓语的情况如下:

★双宾语(直接宾语,间接宾语)
1.间接宾语多指人,直接宾语多指物。可以带两个宾语的动词有:bring,give,show,send,pass,tell
间接宾语一般放在直接宾语的前面
2.如果强调直接宾语,可把直接宾语放在间接宾语的前面,但间接宾语前必需+to/for
接to的动词有:give,bring,pass传递,lend借/租,sell,send,show,tell,write等

定语是用来修饰、限定人和物(即名词)特点的成分。定语可以是单个词也可以是词组,也可能是从句。

状语是修饰动词的,状语是一个词也可以是词组或者从句。位置灵活。

七、表语
表语是说明主语的身份、性质、品性、特征和状态的,表语位于系动词之后,表语就是起表述作用的句子成分之一。
I am fine. ( fine 是形容词,作表语)
He is a boy. ( boy 是名词,作表语)
Five plus two is seven. ( seven 是数词,作表语)
He is not at home. (at home 是介词短语,作表语)
My hobby is reading. ( reading 是动名词,作表语)
Our duty is to make our environment better.(to make 是不定式,作表语)
