In fact, the story of the film comes from one of Roald Dahl's books. Roald Dahl was a famous writer. But here, I'm going to tell you about another of his books. Its name is James and the Giant Peach (《詹姆斯与大仙桃》). The book came out in 1961 and became popular around the world quickly.

Aunt Sponge is short and fat. James gets up early and works for his aunts, but they don't give him enough food and often hit him.
One summer afternoon, James meets an old man in the garden. The old man gives him some green balls and tells him that wonderful things will happen if he eats the balls. James is so happy. But unluckily, he falls down and the balls burrow into (钻进) the ground quickly. Soon, a giant peach grows on the tree in the garden. It is as big as a house.
