Robinson Crusoe is a story written by Daniel Defoe. The main character(主要人物), Robinson Crusoe, was born in a middle-class (中产阶级) family and traveled all over the world during his life.
Once, while sailing(航行) to Africa, his ship faced a storm, and everyone else on the ship died except Robinson Crusoe. He ended up drifting(漂流) to a deserted(荒凉的) island where he lived alone for 28 years.

What happened next What happened between Friday and Robinson
The end of Robinson Crusoe
After I rescue(救) Friday on the lonely island, I bring him to my place and set up a small tent between two fences. At first, I'm a bit scared because I don't know if Friday could be dangerous.
As time goes by, though, I realize that Friday is a good person, and we become close friends. I become like a father to Friday, and he shows that he cares about me a lot. I start teaching him English, and even though it's hard at first, he learns quickly. We do many things together on the island, like cooking and making our living space bigger.
As we spend more time together, I find out that Friday's people have enemies. He tells me about their culture and traditions. Our friendship grows stronger, and we face the challenges of the island as a team.
Some unexpected visitors, eleven Englishmen on a boat, show up on the island. Three of them are prisoners(囚犯). Friday and I carefully watch them from the forest. We make a good plan and take control of the ship, saving the prisoners and having a happy celebration.
I get ready to go home, bringing only important things. In 1686, we leave the island and first visit Friday's people, then London, where I see big changes. Back in York, I find some family.
A letter from Brazil tells me my wife married again, and I also have a son. Feeling a lot, I decide to visit Brazil briefly. After three months with my family, I start a journey back to the island with my son and Friday. There, we find the prisoners are gone. After twenty days, we say goodbye, feeling a strong connection to the island.
