语法3: too的用法
too 只有副词这一种词性,但有多种表达意义和用法。 1. too 修饰形容词,意为“太,过于”,表示超出了可以接受的程度。例如: These shoes are too small(for me). 这些鞋子(对我来说)太小了。 “too ... to ...”意为“太 而不能 ”。例如: My brother is too young to ride a bike. 我的弟弟太年幼,不能骑自行车。 2. too 用在肯定句句末,意为“也”。例如: I can draw. I can sing too.我会画画,也会唱歌。 also同样可以表示“也”,置于句中行为动词之前或be动词之后。例如: I like dogs. I also like cats. 我喜欢狗,也喜欢猫。 在否定句中把 too改成either。例如: I can't swim. I can't skate either. 我不会游泳,也不会滑冰。 3. too much 和 much too: too much 意为“太多”,后跟不可数名词(如:too much water 太多水)。 much too 意为“太”,后跟形容词或副词(如:much too big太大)。
