1.引导学生归纳与节日有关的短语和句型,如share with、get together、celebrate、bring good luck、decorate、have a party、have a big dinner等。
2.浏览Activity 5中的问题,让学生先在小组内谈论,然后进行小组展示。
3.根据Activity 5中的问题提示,进行写作。两人一组互评,根据同伴的意见修改短文,完成后在全班展示。
板书设计
1.It is a time for...意为“到……的时间了”。
2.among意为“在……之中,在……之间”,表示在三者或三者以上的人或物中间,而between表示在两者之间。
3.by作介词,意为“通过……手段和方法”,后面接名词、代词、动名词等,对该短语提问用how。
4.lay the table 意为“摆放餐桌”。lay作动词,意为“摆放(餐桌)”,过去式和过去分词为laid。此外,lay还有“放置;下蛋;产卵”之意。
5.enough作形容词,意为“足够的,充足的”,通常修饰可数名词复数或不可数名词,可放在被修饰名词之前或之后。
◇教学反思◇
　　本节课是读写课,在阅读过程当中,教师要注意阅读方法的渗透和培养,明确感恩节的来历、庆祝方式及意义。在写作环节中,能够引导学生介绍我国的传统节日和当地有特色的节日,加深学生对节日文化内涵的理解。在Unit 1语法的基础上,让学生继续加强对时间状语从句的理解。
