Teaching steps
Step 1 Lead-in
Talk about the ways to travel, and give some advice.
Where can I go?
How can I go there?
What’s the best way to get there?
Step 2 Watch a movie
Listen carefully,and answer a question:
What is the cheapest way to travel?
Step 3 Reading time
Look through the question part quickly and find the answers.
What questions does he have about this travel?
How long does the journey take ？
What is the best way to travel?
Step 4. Reading time
Read the answer part carefully and complete the table.
Tell the students to look at the table first and find out what kind of information they need to complete it.
Ask them to read the passage carefully and underline the key information.
Elicit answers in full sentences from the whole class.
