1. 英语中电话通话的交际用语:
1) 当打电话要求与Rick通话时，可说:
May I speak to Rick, please 我找里克。

2) 当接听电话，说“我是Rick”时，英语常用:

How’s it going with sb. / sth.
用来表达对朋友、家人的关怀。如:
How’s it going with Peter

1) 省略句 相当于(It) Sounds like…
听起来……
(It) Sounds like you had a good time on your trip.
2) sounds + 形容词
This idea souds great!

4. Can I take a message for him 要我给他捎个话吗
Could you just tell him to call me back
你能否叫他给我回个电话
情态动词 can 和 could 相当于汉语中的“可以 / 能不能”,用于表达请求，只是could在语气上比can更加委婉、客气。
take a message for sb. / tell sb. to do sth. / call sb. back

6. cook 作动词，意为“烹调；煮”
通常妈妈给我们做晚饭。

【拓展】作名词, 意为“厨师”。

天气怎么样？
是多云的。/是晴朗的。/正在下雨。
你正在做什么？
我正在做饭。
他们正在做什么？
他们正在公园打篮球。

1.提问“天气”用 How’s the weather 同义句为: What’s the weather like 天气怎样？
1) 后可接时间、地点。如:
How’s the weather today
今天天气怎么样
How’s the weather in Sichuan
四川天气怎么样
2) 回答用“ It’s + 天气 ”。如:
How’s the weather today
It’s cloudy.
2.现在进行时结构：sb. + be +doing. 表示正在发生的动作。
注意：主语为I时，be动词用am；
主语为we, you, they以及复数人称时用are；
主语为第三人称单数时用is。
