Language points
such adj.这样的;这种。用来修饰名词(名词前面可以带形容词,也可以不带)。如果修饰可数名词单数,其后面需加不定冠词a/an。
【辨析】so常用于“so+形容词+a/an+可数名词单数”结构。such常用于“such+a/an+形容词+可数名词单数”和“such+形容词+可数名词复数/不可数名词”结构。
eg:This is such an important match. 这是一场如此重要的比赛。
He is so clever a boy. =He is such a clever boy.他是一个如此聪明的男孩子。
2.I wonder how much more computers will be able to do in the future.
wonder意为“想知道”,后接if 或whether引导的宾语从句时,表委婉的请求或疑问。wonder后还可以接who,what,why,how much 等引导的宾语从句或“疑问词+不定式”结构。
