一、教学目标:

Students can learn some key words and useful expressions about inventions.

Students are able to talk about the advantages of inventions.

Learn the right ways to learn about how to use some inventions that around you.

一.导入
1.教师播放电影e-book的片段;
2.教师由e-book引出Internet
3.教师介绍书的发展
通过谈论图片和视频和设置疑问,引导学生谈论书的由来和发展过程。
激活学生已有的知识和生活体验,为后续的读说做铺垫。To arouse Ss’ interests in learning about the technology.

1、引导学生对文本进行预测
2、指导学生通过看标题、图片、读首句对文本内容进行预测;

预测
1.通过教师引导,熟知“检索”的阅读方法。
2.看图片进一步预测;
3.阅读每段的首句、尾句及关键词,证实自己的预测。
指导学生对文本进行预测有利于学生养成一种良好的阅读习惯,同时更好地理解文本。


1.指导学生进行快速阅读,了解文本的主旨大意;

3.通过对词汇的整合,让学生加深印象,并根据要求选出正确的词义解释,同时指导学生了解词汇的词性;
4.对文本进行概括,指导学生运用正确的词汇完成文本的概要。
1.快读。了解文本的大概内容,对文本的主旨作出自己的选择;
2.细读2-3段。带着问题找出有关paper和printing 的发展。
3.细读4-5段。找出有关Internet的信息,用关键词回答问题。
4. 5.对文本词汇的整合,加深印象,并根据要求学会用so, s a result, because进行表述。
5.对词汇做进一步的巩固,根据教师对文本的概括填入合适的词汇;
运用“检索”阅读策略,使学生整体感知文本,理清文章脉络,并能在细节处根据上下文理解词汇和句子间的逻辑关系;通过对文本的表层理解到深层理解,培养学生分析问题、解决问题的能力,形成一定的学习策略。


指导学生在了解文本的基础上,提出问题What do you think of J. K. Rowling? What can we learn from J.K Rowling? What can we do to make our dreams come true?引导学生进行深层次的思考和分析。指导学生联系自己的生活实际和体验,带着问题展开小组讨论,并进行汇报。
6. 在了解文本的基础上,通过联系自己的生活实际和体验,在老师的指导下学以致用,进行深层次的思考和分析,展开小组讨论,并进行汇报。

Level B:寻找自己喜欢的作家的信息,并写一篇有关此作家和其优秀作品的介绍。(选做题)
作业的分层设计有利于不同层次的学生有不同的收获,因人而异。鼓励所有学生读名著,激励学有余力的学生完成综合性能力较强的作业。
