教学设计
课型:读写课
课前朗读
课前要求学生将本单元的单词短语journey, book, outside, choice, however, cost,大声快速地朗读,达到预习的目的,当然课前读词算是课前热身,给出几个单词和短语,让学生快速测试,从最基本的单词短语入手,使学生感到既容易进入又遇到一定的障碍,为这一节读写课引出需求。检查的方式可以多样.
一、明确目标
首先让学生明确本节课要完成的学习任务:
I Teaching Aims:
1. To be able to master the words and expressions .
To understand the passage on travel and transportation.
To master the use of superlative adjectives and adverbs. 2. Ability Aims:
Cultivate the students’ abilities of listening ,reading and speaking. Try to talk about food and drink in their lives according to what they learned in the textbook.
3. Emotional Aims:
They can realize how to be healthy and give others some good advice about eating and drinking.
二、读前导入
Lead-in
Talk about places you go to and how you get there.
How do you get there?
What’s the cheapest way to get there?
What’s the best way to get there?
2. Show some pictures.
3. Talk something about the pictures.
Presentation and Practice
①Work in pairs, talk about their favourite travel
② After their ask and answers, present a question:
Listen to the tape, finish the exercises in activity 3.
③ Read it after the tape, then read by themselves.
Give them some pictures and ask them to recite the short passage. (Task 1)
三、多层阅读
1.Read through the eight statements with the students. Then ask them to read the text of healthy food and drink individually, and then check the statements which are true. They can then check their answers with a partner. Call back the answers from the whole class , having them read the complete sentences followed by “it’s true” or “ it isn’t true”.
2.Then listen to the tape carefully and read it twice. Then read it in groups and see who read it better. Read the whole passage. Then find out the difficult phrases in it. Talk about the problems first in groups then in class with the help of the teacher. At last fill in the blanks using we have learned in this class.
Ask the students to read through the passage in Activity 4.
There are four ways to travel from London to Amsterdam. The first (1) ________ is by train because the (2) ________ takes only four hours. (3) ________, it’s quite expensive. Going by car and by ship, or coach does not (4) ________ as much as going by train. When you go by car and by ship, remember that parking in Amsterdam is not cheap, so it is best to stay (5) ________ the city centre and travel in by bus or by train.
3. Complete the passage with the correct form of the words from the box.
4. Check with a partner.
四、精读足练
1、学生先自主精读课文,找出疑难问题,然后结对或小组内进行交流,不能明确的问题由教师点拨或指导。
2、精讲知识点,辅以造句、对话等多种形式的充足练习,使学生掌握并能灵活运用。我设计了这样一个小练习题:
Ask and answer about the ways of travelling. Use the information in the table.
— What’s the cheapest way to travel from London to Paris?
— The cheapest way is by coach.

五、写作训练
1、写作训练遵循词组-短句-长句-短篇-长篇的循序渐进原则;
2、写作形式可以先引导学生仿写、改写,再运用所学知识进行独立写作,以实现从语言的输入到输出,由学到用的目的。我是这样设计的:
Writing task 1
Look at these sentences. Join them with but.
Write a passage about ways of travelling from London to Paris. Use the information in Activity 5 and the passage in Activity 2 to help you.
You can go from London to Paris by coach, plane or train. Travelling by plane is the fastest but also the most expensive.
六、反馈矫正
1.下发反馈题,学生独立答题,不再借助于别人的力量,实事求是,看看自己这节课的知识是否真正掌握,检测本节课的复习效果。
2.时间到,各组相互讨论,老师给出答案,组长快速阅卷,找出出错点。并和其他组的成绩对比。
我在练习题设计上,先从最基础的短语互译开始,这是最基础的,只要全班同学学习到位,做这个练习可以说基本上没有难度,在顺利完成这个低难度的练习后,学生们是很有信心再往下迈一步的;第二个练习,让学生在句子中运用短语,通过课文填词,使学生对短语的掌握扩展到句子之中,这相对于短语互译又上升了一个台阶;第三个练习便是让学生练习词类及短语在句子中的各种变化,这涉及到时态、人称和数,词形变化,语法的运用等多个方面的问题,做这样的题,就需要学生从多个角度去通盘考虑,锻炼了学生的发散性思维,从而提高了学生们综合运用英语的能力。这样由词到短语再到灵活运用,低起点、多层次,多角度,多频率地去练习巩固。学生易于接受,难度相对也不是很大。
