Lesson 35:Future Transportation
一、概述
本课是冀教版第三册第六单元的第五课。本课的话题是未来的交通方式。本课是一个较长的短文,讲的是Sam介绍他喜欢的未来交通工具-飞翔器。通过本课的学习,可以帮助学生充分利用他们的想象力描述出他们喜欢的未来交通工具。
我在授课开始先出示图片并选取课文中的典型句子为语境教授新单词。之后,通过练习巩固本课新单词。然后,我又设计了速读和细读两个阅读活动来帮助学生完成对课文内容的理解和学习。最后帮助学生完成一篇关于喜欢的未来交通工具的英文写作。
因为课文较难,因此我在写作之前又设置了几个有建议性的未来交通工具的图片,分组进行口语写作练习,之后再进行独立的笔头写作练习。
二、教学目标
1.知识与技能
(1)掌握词汇及短语:smooth, allow, form, travel at the speed of light, all the time。
(2)能够模仿本课中对飞翔器的介绍,自己组织语言,完成一篇介绍自己喜欢的未来交通工具的英语短文。
2.过程与方法
(1)能够通过两次阅读文章学习理解文章中的语言知识,通过小组合作交流,
做好语言支持,完成写作任务;
(2)能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言,有语言表达和与同学交流的愿望和行动。
3.情感态度与价值观
鼓励学生充分发挥想象力,用英语表达自己的想法,展现自己的风采。

1. 复习多种交通工具的优缺点。
2. 在授课中,有意识地归纳和使用文章中介绍飞翔器特征的语句。

3. 通过学习课文和小组合作交流完成一篇英语小短文。
六、教学过程
Class opening (2 minutes)
T: Good morning, class. I have a strange picture. Do you want to have a look ?
Ss: Yes.
T: What is it? Look!
PPT展示出一个飞翔器的图片,开始进入本课的学习。
Step 1: Vocabulary(7 minutes)
通过三张PPT图文并茂的讲解,完成单词教学,同时也在不知不觉中完成了本课目标语言的初次呈现。
在这一环节中,学生会模仿教师跟读并记忆新词、新句。
Step 2: Exercises (3 minutes)
T: I’ll show you some exercises. Do them carefully. Don’t open your books.
本部分主要是检查学生对语言知识的掌握程度。请中等偏下的学生去黑板板书答案,最后PPT出示答案。
Step 3: Reading and tasks (10 minutes)
Read the text fast, then answer a question. What would a hoverboard be like
in the future?
Read the text again. Read it carefully, then finish a chart according to the
text.
PPT出示答案,学生们说出自己的答案并与之订正。
学生通过两次带着不一样的任务完成课文阅读,对于后面写作要用到的句子印象感加深了,掌握得也更好了。
Step 4: Consolidation (7 minutes)
小组活动谈论图片,教师用PPT出示带有目的性的问题供同学们讨论。同时,鼓励他们提出更有创新性的问题。要求把讨论形成的结果,即讨论过程中形成的语句记录下来。
Step 5: Summary (3 minutes)
教师带领同学们再次整理这些句子,并强调重要的结构,选取重要句型提问。
Step 6: Enhancement (13 minutes)
T: PPT 再次出示英语短文题目,学生独立完成写作任务。鼓励学生在班级中展示自己的作品。
Step 7: Homework
1. Finish the exercises in Learning English and activity book.
2. Learn words and useful expressions of this lesson by heart.
3. Preview Lesson 36.

八、课后反思
本节课比较好地完成了教学任务,学生在老师的带领下有条理地完成了本节
课的学习内容。
课后经过反思,我觉得本课在设计上有如下特点:
教学目标、教学模式及方法的选择恰当;
对教学资源进行了恰到好处的归纳总结;
努力为学生创设了语言学习的环境,加强了语言学习的意识;
学生课堂参与度高,交流热烈,发言积极。
但也有一些不足,如:没有设置听的专项训练。我会努力在之后的教学设计中兼顾这一方面。
