学情分析:
本节课的教学对象是七年级的学生,他们的语言基础比较薄弱,词汇量不大,因此需要教师在态度上、语言上多进行鼓励,同时运用小组教学,引入竞争机制,并利用多媒体、图片、猜谜等活动形式激发他们学习的兴趣,使他们能积极主动的参与到学习活动中来。
本节课是人教新目标七年级下册unit9《What does he look like?》的第一课时,其核心话题是立足于人的外貌特点,谈论人的外表形象,让学生学会用所学知识描述人的身高、体重、发型等。本节课的教材内容来源于生活,它主要以人的外貌特征为主线,以循序渐进、由浅入深的学习程序展开英语教学,其主要目的是通过激趣来引导学生运用英语进行交流,能用英语描述人的外貌。这更利于激发其年级学生的参与积极性。因此,我设计了猜谜、对话、抢答、画画等环节,促使学生们在课堂上积极表现。同时,根据年龄特点,我还设计了发鼓励条等方式,协助教学。
效果分析
1.学生活动多,而且形式多样,有小组活动,有同伴活动,有集体展示等。
2.能就书本知识进行相关拓展。如针对1a图片进行对话描述,让学生对所学知识进行适时的运用;在1b的时候,书上要求学生填写名人的信息,我根据学生现有的认识层面,允许学生写自己最喜欢的人物,甚至是自己的好友,降低了学生的难度;能通过听力获取相关信息并进行语言输出。这些都是对教材的开发。
3.做到让学生对本节课所学知识进行自我梳理。
4.授课过程中能合理处理学生的错误,尊重和保护了学生的心灵。也就是说,在学生出错时,教师是帮助学生而不是指责学生。
不足之处:
1、单词教学用时太多,完全可以在学生读会之后进行背诵,然后检查学习效果。可是教师却让学生在小组内读,并让一列学生逐个起来读;而且展示的方式单一,可以变换一下方式,如指着自身或其他学生的身体部位,也可通过游戏“Touch your …”的形式进行检测。
2、因为单词授课时间过长,加上对话练习时帮助学生更正,超出预计的教学实践,影响了后面的教学,导致:
(1)录音没有跟读。
(2)没有就录音进行编对话活动,只是领着学生就表格内容进行了复述。
(3)原计划由学生写出自己喜欢的歌手或运动员,然后再表述的。结果只是对老师所提供的两个人物进行了描述。这大大限制了学生的思维。
教学设计:
Step1:
Warm up:show many kinds of poeple’s pictures to lead to the learning aims:how to describe the person’s performance。
环节一:热课:通过多媒体展示不同体型、不同职业、不同年龄的人物图像,引入课题:如何描述人的外貌,直接切入课题。
Step2:
learn the new words. Make the students master the key words,such as,heavy、build、height、
Curly、straight,by translating and telling the words according to the pictures.
Step3:learn the grammmar:
1.Tell the ss the differenceds between “look like” and “be like”.
2. Make the ss practise the key sentence according to the pictures(14groups)
3.Practice in pairs. Ask and answer(deeper practice)3 groups.
--what does he(she)look like?
--He(She)is(of).........
4.practice makes perfect. Ask and answer according to the pictures.(5groups)

教学难点:新词汇的运用,以及has与is的使用。
突破方法:通过教师的示范,与优秀学生的交流,引导全体同学学习。多进行小组训练,也是一个不错的选择。

语言训练到位,对于重点句型what does he look like?的训练层层推进,目标明确,学生参与积极,实现了既定目标。

语法训练到位,小组教学实施较好,学生活动方式较多样化,能充分调动学生积极性,学生参与度高。

小组教学运用适当,能按教学环节恰当设置活动,使学生在紧张有序的节奏中学习,课堂效果好,学生表现很好。
