So body language is more powerful than spoken language.
Reading
The whole passage consists of 6 paragraphs.
1. How many parts can the 6 paragraphs be divided into

The first paragraph is the first part telling the main idea of the passage which lies in the first sentence.

The second part consists of 2, 3, and 4 paragraphs showing that body language differs from culture to culture by giving examples.

1. Can you think of an example of body language that is appropriate in China but might be misunderstood in another culture
Chinese people seldom make eye contact when they talk. They usually look down to show respect when talking to other people especially an elder one.
But in western countries people will think you are not interested in what he or she is talking about.

Just as an old saying goes “When in Rome, do as the Romans do”.
