教材分析

Step 1 Analyzing
1. Work on Activity 1. Read the following sentences and underline the relative clauses. Then name the two types of clauses and state their functions.
2. Work in pairs. Discuss the differences between restrictive relative clauses and non-restrictive relative clauses.
设计意图：通过活动1，引导学生识别并比较非限制性定语从句和限制性定语从句在形式上和功能上的不同。
Step 2 Practice
1. Work on Activity 2. Rewrite the sentences using non-restrictive relative clauses. How do the sentences flow differently
2. Exercises: Choose the words in the box to complete the sentences.
3. Exercises: Decide whether the sentences are right or wrong. Correct them where necessary.
