二、阅读理解。
When your child becomes a teenager, you might feel it harder to talk to them about something. “They don’t want to follow your advice. They believe they know how to live their lives and they’re building their own identities (身份),” said Liz Morrison.
While your connection (关系) with your teenager may change, it still can become strong. The following ways may help.

Don’t forget your past self. It’s important to remember the feelings you experienced as a teen. If you can feel the same way as your children do, you will be more patient. So you won’t get bored easily or shout at them. And you can understand your teens better.
Ask your teens for advice.
Talk to your teens about your problems, and ask for their ideas. By doing so, you can tell them that it’s OK to feel unsafe (不安全的), and that it’s a natural part of growing up.
Find activities to do together.
Don’t sit and talk face to face because that may make them nervous. Doing something interesting together will help them better show their feelings. These activities can be easy, such as walking or riding bikes. You might also read together and then talk about it.

Maybe this person can help you talk with your mum or dad about your problems.
Once you know who you can talk to, you should choose when and where to talk. If you think it’s difficult for you to say what you think, write it down on a piece of paper. If the person can’t understand what you mean right away, try to say it in a different way or give an example.
