When your child becomes a teenager, you might feel it harder to talk to them about something. “They don’t want to follow your advice. They believe they know how to live their lives and they’re building their own identities （身份）,” said Liz Morrison.

Ask your teens for advice.

Find activities to do together.

But if you talk with someone and he or she cares a lot about you, like your mum or dad, you may feel better. Now you’re not alone with your problems or worries.
