Teaching objectives:
1. To understand vocabulary relating to TV programs
2. To think about TV preferences and talk about different types of TV programmes.
Important & difficult points:
Words: done comedy documentary real-life dialogue
Phrases: drama series, game show, get bored with doing sth
Patterns: 1. Eddie,aren’t you getting bored with staying at home all day?
2. If you’re as busy as I am, you won’t get bored..
3. A dog’s work is never done.
4. There are always famous people on these shows talking about their lives.

Step 3 A guessing game
One student describes sth about a TV programme. The others try to guess what TV programme it is.
1. You can learn a lot about nature, history and real-life events.
2. You can take part in one of them, answer all the questions and win a great prize.
3. Actors are always very funny and they make people laugh.
4. Some people talk about their lives.
5. Something interesting is shown , such as Hello Kitty, Mickey Mouse.
6. There are very interesting stories.
7.You can learn how to cook meals, eat healthy food and keep fit.
