Last year, the Ministry of Education announced the postponement (推迟) of the spring term for schools. Many schools started the new term by using online apps to take classes. Will online education replace traditional schools Some students share their opinions.
Simon: Online education is good for those in a short course and at an older age. For children, the traditional school is still the best. Education is not all about learning knowledge from books but also how we get on with people around us.
Kaka: Online education is the best method under the present situation. Seventeen years ago, when SARS was hitting China, I was a graduating senior. I still remember clearly that we had to wear masks to attend classes every day. It was very uncomfortable. Kids today are very lucky.

Mumuzi: I think at least for now, schools provide more for students than studying by Internet. In the long run of their development, besides knowledge, students need to take part in different class activities to get first hand experience, which makes it possible for them to solve practical problems when leaving school.
Olivia: There are both advantages and disadvantages, but during the special period, schools just want to catch up with progress and provide more resources(资源). For example, for students who will take the ”gaokao”and “zhongkao”,it's a difficult period. Most of them felt worried when they knew they could not go back to school as before. When I was in primary school, I was very fat and didn't like doing exercise. I felt tired and bored when doing any kind of exercise. Because I hardly did any exercise, I often felt sick and went to see the doctor. What's worse, I was absent from school from time to time, so I couldn't catch up with others. And my parents were worried about me.
One day, after having supper, my father came and asked me to have a walk with him. My father said that for people with very poor health, it was difficult to take up running and other sports, but they could start from walking and increase their endurance(耐力). With his encouragement, I agreed and we went out together. It was hard for me to walk for half an hour. I wanted to give up, but my father encouraged me to keep on walking.
From then on, I was often asked to walk with my parents. To my surprise, I could walk for an hour in the fourth month. How proud I felt! I loved taking exercise gradually. Now I lose all the fat and become a healthy girl.

There were many great inventions in history that changed the way people lived. The first great invention is still very important today—the wheel. This helped people carry heavy things easily. For hundreds of years after that, few inventions had as much effect as the wheel. In the second half of the 19th century, many great inventions were made. They were the camera, the electric light and the radio.
The first part of the 20th century saw more great inventions, such as the movies with sound in 1926, the computer in 1946, and jet planes in 1930. This was also a time when a new material was first made. Nylon (尼龙) came out in 1935. It changed the kind of clothes people wore.
Of course new inventions continued to be made. Men began looking for ways to go into space. The Soviet Union made the first step. Then the United States followed. Since then, other countries, including China and Japan, have made their steps into space. In 1969, Americans first walked on the moon. In 1973, the first practical mobile phone was invented by Dr. Cooper in New York. This was certainly just a beginning. New inventions will someday allow us to do things we have never dreamed of.
