are eager to learn about China
For one thing, as China now has opened up to the outside world, there are opportunities for employment in all areas. Knowing about China or speaking Chinese may give people an edge when competing for a position as China will play a major role in world affairs in the future.
For another thing, many people are fascinated by the profound Chinese culture and Chinese history–China’s vast history and culture is incredibly well-known, with its impact being seen by its appreciation globally.
