(1)remember doing sth. 表示“记得做过某事”,表示事情已经发生过了;而remember to do sth. 表示“记着要去做某事”,表示事情还没做。例如:

Section A(第一、二课时)
【拓展】类似用法的单词还有regret,forget, stop等。例如:

I regret to tell you that she can’t come to the party. 很抱歉告诉你她不能来参加聚会。
另外,stop后接不定式作目的状语,意为“停下来去做……”,后接动名词作宾语时意为“停止做……”。例如:

(2)in a row意为“连续几次地”。例如:

shall的用法。
(1)shall作助动词,意为“将要,将会”,构成将来时态。shall一般用于第一人称I和we,其后接动词原形。例如:

(1)first of all意为“首先”,要讲几件事情时,通常用该短语引出第一件事。例如:

(2)congratulate意为“祝贺”,常和介词on搭配,on后接要祝贺的事情,构成congratulate sb.(on sth.) 结构。例如:
I congratulate you with all my heart. 我衷心地祝贺你。
I congratulate you on your success.我祝贺你的成功。
【拓展】congratulate的名词形式是congratulation。例如:
Congratulations to you on winning the first prize in the English contest.祝贺你在英语竞赛中获得一等奖。
2.But along with difficulties, there will also be many exciting things waiting for you. 但是除了困难,还将会有许多激动人心的事情等待着你们。
(1)along with有两种含义。
①表示“与……一道,共同,连同”。例如:
She came along with some friends. 她和几个朋友一道来的。
②表示“(除……外)又……;加之”。例如:
He can speak several languages. Along with English, he can speak Russian and French. 他会说几门语言。除英语外,他还会说俄语和法语。
(2)There be sb. /sth. doing sth. 是固定句式,表示“有某人或某物正在做某事”。be动词的单复数形式要与句中主语的单复数形式保持一致。例如:
Look! There are some children playing games under the tree.看!树下有一些孩子在玩游戏。
Look! There is a dog lying on the ground.看!有一只狗躺在地上。
3.Although you have to go your separate ways now, I hope that in a few years’ time, you’ll come back to visit our school. 虽然你们现在要去不同的学校,但我希望几年后你们会回来看望母校。
(1)separate在句中作形容词,意为“单独的,分离的”。例如:
