However,I was assigned to pair up with Alex to design a poster.Reluctantly,we started working together.I was wor-
ried that working with Alex would be very difficult because of our previous relationship.But to my surprise,as the work
progressed,we found that we shared many common interests.We put a lot of efforts into the drawings and texts,and finally
we completed a quite outstanding poster.Alex seemed to forgive me.He appreciated my efforts and began to care about my
feelings.The teacher highly praised our work and our classmates were amazed at the picture on the poster.
Alex proudly introduced that the fantastic picture was drawn by me.I smiled shyly but happily as my classmates
crowned me and gave me a thumbs up.Slowly but surely,I started feeling more comfortable in my new school.I made new
friends,including Alex,and began to participate in activities in and after classes.By the end of the school year,I had
fully adapted to the new environment.Moving to a new town was not only challenging,but it also opened up a world of op-
portunities and new experiences for me.
