step 1 activity 1 Translate the following sentences with attributive clauses. Look at the sentences from the reading passage and answer the questions. What is the function of the words in red in the sentences Why does the author use -ed instead of attributive clauses 3、Find examples from “The Well That Changed the World”. step 2 activity 2 一般表示被动或完成(vi.仅表完成),某些形容词化的过去分词表状态。 单个分词做前置定语,分词短语做后置定语。若修饰代词(e.g., those, something, somebody),则单个分词也要后置。 单个的过去分词有时置于名词后作定语,用以表示强调 有些过去分词作前置定语与后置定语时意义不同 step 3 activity 3 Read the discussion between two students about Ryan’s foundation.
