1.被动语态的构成
现以eat为例说明被动语态在各种时态中的构成。
一般现在时:am/is/are+eaten
一般过去时:was/were+eaten
一般将来时:will/shall/be going to be+eaten
现在进行时:am/is/are being+eaten
过去进行时:was/were being+eaten
现在完成时:have/has been+eaten
运用口诀:被动语态be字变,过去分词跟后面。
2.被动语态的用法
(1)不知道或没有必要说明动作的执行者是谁。例如:
This book was published in 1981. 这本书出版于1981年。(没有
必要说出出版者)
(2)强调动作的承受者,而不强调动作的执行者。例如:
Nine hours per day for sleep must be guaranteed.每天9小时睡眠
必须得到保证。
运用口诀:谁做的动作不知道,说出谁做的没必要;动作承受者
需强调,被动语态运用到。
3.主动语态变被动语态的方法
(1)把主动语态的宾语变为被动语态的主语。
(2)把谓语变成被动结构(be+过去分词)。
根据被动语态句子里的主语的人称和数,以及原来主动语态句子
中动词的时态来决定be的形式。
(3)把主动语态中的主语放在介词by之后作宾语,将主格改为宾
格。例如:
They make the bikes in the factory.→ The bikes are made by
them in the factory.
运用口诀:宾变主,主变宾,by短语后面跟。
谓语动词变被动,be后“过分”来使用。

考点1 时态复习
1.复习一般现在时、现在进行时、一般将来时、一般过去时、过去
进行时和现在完成时。(详见“语法”部分的“动词的时态和语态”一讲)
2.过去进行时主要有以下用法:
(1)谈论过去的某个时刻或某段时间正在进行的事。例如:
I was reading newspapers at 7:30 this morning. 今早七点半我在
读报纸。
(2)当过去某一件事情发生时,另外一个动作正在进行。此时,
延续性动词用过去进行时,瞬间动词用一般过去时。例如:
The earthquake started while I was doing some shopping.我正在
购物时地震发生了。
(3)可以表示从过去某个时候看来将要发生的事。例如:
When his son arrived, the old man was dying. 当老人的儿子到
达时,这个老人已奄奄一息。
3.注意:
(1)表示状态和感觉的动词如果指现在情况的话,一般不用进行
时,而要用一般现在时。这样的动词有:love, like, hate, want, hope,
need, wish, know, understand, remember, belong, hear, see, seem, have
(有), sound(听起来), taste(尝起来)等。
(2)要注意区分一般过去时和过去进行时。一般过去时表示过去
发生的事情,侧重结果;而过去进行时只表示过去某段时间正在进行的
动作,而不涉及结果。例如:

考点2 构词法
构词法主要有合成法、派生法和转化法三种。
1.合成法
把两个或两个以上的单词合成一个新的单词,这种构词法称为合
成法。合成法是一种比较灵活的构词法,可以合成名词、形容词、副词、
代词、动词等。例如:
(1)合成名词:afternoon, sportsman, blackboard, sportsperson,
newspaper, airplane, classmate, grandfather。
(2)合成形容词:kind-hearted, middl-aged, hard-working。
(3)其他合成词:however, maybe, himself, everyone, nothing,

2.派生法

Fraser Island is in Queensland, Australia, about 200 kilometres north of Brisbane.
It is a very important island because it is completely made of sand, but there is a long beach along the east coast. Planes arrive and leave from here.
The sand makes unusual shapes. There are hills made of sand called sand blows. Nothing grows on them. They move one or two metres a year from the northwest towards the southeast of the island,
