假如你是李华，你校将举办一场交通安全知识讲座，你打算邀请外教John参加。请用英语给他写封邮件，内容包括：
1.告知讲座的时间和地点；
2.介绍讲座的主题和内容；
3.期待他的出席。
Step:1 审题谋篇
邀请信属于应用文，主要用来邀请某人参加宴会、庆祝活动或会议。邀请信与普通信件的格式基本一样：
（1）称呼
（2）开头语
（3）活动内容、时间及地点
（4）结束语
（5）落款

（2）时态：一般现在时
（3）主题：邀请参加讲座
（4）人称：第一、三人称
（5）结构：称呼
第一段：讲座的时间地点，发出邀请
第二段：讲座的主题和内容
第三段：希望对方回应

1.下周一晚上7点有一个关于交通安全（traffic safety）的讲座（lecture）。
2.我写信是想邀请你参加（attend）。
3.讲座由我们学校组织（organize），将在学校大厅（school hall）举行（hold）。
4.讲座分为三个部分。
5.首先，我们校长将代表（on behalf of）学校讲话（give a speech）。
6.然后一些来自我们城市的交通警察（police）会给我们看一些关于交通事故的图片。
7.此外，他们会教我们许多交通规则（rule），提醒（remind）我们注意交通安全。

There will be a lecture about traffic safety at 7 pm next Monday.
I’m writing to invite you to attend it.
3.讲座由我们学校组织（organize），将在学校大厅（school hall）举行（hold）。

There are three parts of the lecture.
5.首先，我们校长将代表（on behalf of）学校讲话（give a speech）。
At first, our headmaster will give a speech on behalf of the school.
6.然后一些来自我们城市的交通警察（police）会给我们看一些关于交通事故的图片。
7.此外，他们会教我们许多交通规则（rule），提醒（remind）我们注意交通安全。
Then some traffic policemen coming from our city will show us some pictures about traffic accidents.
In addition, they will teach us many traffic rules to remind us to pay attention to traffic safety.
