Whether it’s making sculptures out of toast, creating a mini world or building a 3D space of your own, there are lots of suggestions in Child’s new series of books to give you inspirations and encouragement. “Everything is creative thinking; you can’t invent something or solve a problem without that time to think,” she tells The Week Junior. “It means you’re being asked to spend some time thinking about things.”
Part of the reason why young people aren’t spending enough time thinking creatively, says

You’re not communicating with your immediate world.”
Now Child wants to challenge herself to take just 15 minutes to put phone aside and be bored, and then try to get out of that boring feeling. “When I’m walking along the street try to look up more to notice buildings I’ve never seen before.
