2.Turn on the blender. 打开搅拌器。
turn on意为“打开（液流、气流、电流等的）龙头或开关”。其中on为副词，像这种“动词+副词”的结构，如果接名词作宾语，则名词放在副词前或副词后都可以; 如果接代词作宾语，则代词要放在副词前。例如：
I want to watch a football game. Please turn on the TV / turn the TV on.

how many和how much都意为“多少”，但用法有区别：how many后接可数名词的复数形式，用于对可数名词的数量进行提问; 而how much后接不可数名词，对不可数名词的数量或者物品的价格进行提问。例如：

我们需要三个香蕉。
（1）英语中的名词有可数名词和不可数名词之分。一般来说，可数名词可用数目计算，如：table，pen，book，bowl，tomato等。不可数名词一般不能以数目计算，不可以拆分成个体，如：water，meat，milk，honey等。但是，有些名词可能是可数名词，也可能是不可数名词，要根据具体语境进行判断。
（2）可数名词有单数和复数形式的变化，而不可数名词只有单数形式。例如：
I need some water. 我需要一些水。（water只有单数形式）
My mother asked me to buy some pears on my way home. 我妈妈让我在回家的路上买点梨。（pear有复数形式pears）
（3）可数名词可以直接在其前加数词表示数量，但不可数名词则不能这样用。不可数名词表示数量时通常要借助表示量的名词。例如：

a spoon of honey 一勺蜂蜜
two cups of milk 两杯牛奶
five glasses of water 五杯水

（1）add是动词，意为“加”，可以构成短语：add to （增加），“add …to …”（把……加到……上），“add …into …” （把……加到……里），add up to（总共达……）。例如：

（2）“another + 数词 + 可数名词复数”意为“再……; 另外……; 增加……”，表示数量的增加，即表示在原有基础上又增加了若干数量。而“数词 + more + 名词”也可以表达这个意思，但是more后面的名词可以是单数，也可以是复数。例如：
We need another two engineers for the project.=We need two more engineers for the project.
我们还需要两个工程师做这个项目。
【注意】当其中的数词是one时，通常说one more，而不用another one。例如：
He decided to have one more try.
