一、教材分析
1. 单元及课文分析
本单元围绕“自己”展开话题,通过让人不断地发现自己的特长与特点,从而更加自信。本课讲述了一个叫Cathy的女孩克服心理的畏惧勇敢地面对自己,成功站上舞台的故事。
2. 教学重点
a. 听出并理解Cathy’s dream,学习重点单词与短语。
b. 宾语补足语。
3. 教学难点:宾语补足语的理解与熟练应用。
二、教学目标
1.知识目标
a.听出并会读会写单词:program, confident, voice, heart, beat, herself
b.短语:enough to do It’s one’ s turn to do
c.语法:宾语补足语
2.能力目标:能用英语表达自己的梦想。
3.情感目标:勇于面对自己的理想,并克服困难去实现它。

Step II New Concepts (30分钟)
1. New Words
a. pictures and words (给新单词一个语境)
b.以连连看的形式,检测学生是不是对单词有了一个基本的认读和理解。本课单词有些多,所以采用了这种简单的形式。
2. Listening
Listen to the text and choose the correct answers. (与中考接轨)

【设计思路】 各小组以手抄报的形式,记录每个小组成员的梦想,老师会帮他们珍藏起来,成为以后鼓励他们实现梦想的工具。

这里turn是名词,表示次序。
轮到某人做某事:___________________________
e.g. It’s our turn to clean the classroom.
4. Well done, Cathy! I know you can make it! 做的好, Cathy。我知道你能做到。
well done表示对某人做事的称赞.句中make表示能做成.
5. Would I sound good? 我听起来会不错吗? sound做动词时,表示听起来,是系动词,后跟形容词。
