Warming up:
Ask students if they like travelling and let them learn about the information about the Mekong.
Read for main idea:
Let students find out the main idea of the whole passage and each paragraph, and ask them to pay attention to the learning tips.
Read for details:
Check if the students really understand the passage by several exercises such as translation, multiple choices, filling in the blanks.
Retell the story:
Give students some key words: dream about, graduate, the Mekong River, stubborn, organize the trip, at an altitude of, hard to breathe, make up her mind. Then let them put these words in a paragraph.
