A sad love story 是“语言运用”部分的阅读课文。虽然结尾留下了悬念，但它是一个完整的故事，讲述了一对现代年青人的爱情故事，其中穿插了对中国古代著名的“牛郎和织女”及其由此演变出来的“乞巧节”的介绍。两个不同年代的故事由爱情这条主线巧妙地连接起来，使学生读起来意趣盎然，同时让他们理解到爱的真谛是相互信任，相互理解。为此做如下教学设计：
根据本节教学内容及课程标准的要求，将本节课设计为一课时。
一、教学方法
1．兴趣激发法
1）用有趣、难度适中的阅读材料激发学生阅读兴趣。
2） 阅读前的巧妙提问激发学生阅读兴趣。
2．信息整合法
根据课文实际情况，努力运用如自制课件、网络等各种媒体手段，将各种有用的信息资源整合起来，充分调动学生的学习兴趣和主动性，培养学生获取和利用信息的能力。
二、课前准备：
设计PPT课件，准备好听力视频材料，印制好导学案。
