Sample writing:
My favourite animal is the giant panda, which is beautiful and cute, with black and white fur like big cats.
Giant pandas, mainly feeding on bamboo shoots and leaves, live in the mountains in Sichuan Province. They used to be endangered. In recent years, several natural preserves have been set up to protect them and the number of them is increasing.
They are loved by the Chinese people and known as the national treasure of China.
One possible version 1
The giant panda
Of all the animals, I like giant pandas best. The giant panda, whose home is in Sichuan Province, is known as the national treasure of China. Pandas live in the beauty of nature where they can enjoy their lives happily.
Giant pandas are very beautiful animals with black and white fur like big cats. They usually eat bamboo shoots and leaves and live in bamboo forests, where they can climb trees and play games. I like pandas because they are so lovely!
But the population of giant pandas is getting smaller and smaller. Many hunters kill them for their fur and farmers change the nature reserves to make more farmlands. I think giant pandas need our help and protection. We should take actions to protect pandas and let them live in the wild happily.
