1.Hello, everyone. 大家好。
everyone= everybody,是不定代词,意为“大家;每人”。everyone强调的是整体,作主语时谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式。在一般现在时中,当主语是第三人称单数时,谓语动词要用第三人称单数形式。以be动词为例,be动词的形式须和主语在人称和数上保持一致。即第一人称I,后面的be动词用am;第三人称he/she/it,后面的be动词用is;第一人称复数we,第二人称you,第三人称复数they,后面的be动词都用are。例如:
Everyone/ Everybody is in the classroom. 每个人都在教室里。
2.Beijing is the capital of China. 北京是中国的首都。
capital在此作名词,意为“首都;省会”。“the capital of…”表示“……的首都/省会”。例如:
The capital of Guangdong Province is Guangzhou.广东省的省会是广州。
3.Wang Hui is my friend, but he is not in my class. 王辉是我的朋友,但是他不在我的班里。
本句是but连接的并列句,but在此作连词,意为“但是,然而”,连接两个并列成分,表示转折关系。表示并列或递进关系要用and。例如:
My brother likes apples, but I don’t. My sister likes bananas, and I like them too.我哥哥喜欢吃苹果,但是我不喜欢。我姐姐喜欢吃香蕉,我也一样。
4.Shanghai is a very big city. 上海是一个很大的城市。
very在此作副词,意为“很,非常”,修饰形容词或副词,表示程度。例如:
The girl is very nice.那个女孩很友善。
5.Tony is my first name and Smith is my last name. 托尼是我的名字,史密斯是我的姓。
first name=given name,意为“名字”;last name =family name,意为“姓”。
英美人的姓名顺序与中国人的刚好相反。在英语中 first name 在前;last name 在后。例如:
His first name is Daming and his last name is Li. 大明是他的名字,李是他的姓。

1.一般现在时中be动词的用法
(1)一般现在时中be动词有am, is, are 三种形式,都表示“是”。be 动词的形式根据主语的不同而有所变化。变化形式为:
人称 I he/ she/it (单数) they/we/you
(复数)
be动词 am is are
【妙记】我(I)用 am,你(you)用 are,is用于他(he)、她(he)、它(it)。单数名词用 is,复数名词全用 are。例如:
I am a teacher.我是一名老师。
He is a student.他是一名学生。
They are happy.他们很开心。
(2)含有be动词的一般现在时句式的变化:
①肯定句:主语+be+其他
②否定句:主语+be not+其他
③一般疑问句:Be+主语+其他
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+be
否定回答:No, 主语+be not
例如:
I’m from China.我来自中国。
I’m not from China.我不是来自中国。
—Are you from China.你是来自中国吗?
—Yes, I am./No, I’m not.是的,我来自中国。/不,我不是。
(1)在变成一般疑问句时,要将第一人称变为第二人称。
(2)如果句中有some,则将some变为any。
(3)be动词有时可以与前面或后面的单词缩写。例如:
I am = I’m; you are = you’re; he is = he’s;is not = isn’t; are not = aren’t;但是am not不能缩写。
【注意】
2.人称代词主格和形容词性物主代词
人称代词不仅指人,也可指物。物主代词是表示所属关系的代词。代词的使用要和它所代替的词在人称、数和格上保持一致。

“Where+be+主语+from ”意为“……来自哪里 ”,相当于“Where+ do/does+主语+come from ”,常用来询问某人的籍贯或国籍,be动词和助动词(do/does)的形式需要和句子的主语保持数的一致。例如:
Where is he from (= Where does he come from )他来自哪里?

(1)Chinese在此作形容词,意为“中国的,中国人的”。例如:
He’s a Chinese student.他是一名中国学生。
(2)Chinese作“中国人”讲时,是可数名词,其单复数同形;作“汉语”讲时,是不可数名词。例如:
Li Ming is a Chinese, and he likes Chinese very much. 李明是中国人,他非常喜欢汉语。
3.Hello, what about you 你好,你呢(你多大了)?
“What about… ”意为“……怎么样?”,常用来询问他人的情况、征求意见或提出建议,相当于“How about… ”。在使用时,应注意以下几点:
