1. 能够听、说、认、读A Let’s learn.部分关于天气的单词及词组:cool ,cold,hot ,warm , weather。
2. 能够熟练运用句型“This is the weather report . It’s warm in Beijing today.”来介绍各地的天气。
3. 了解世界几个著名城市的英文发音。

教学过程
Step 1:Warm-up
1. Greeting
向同学们问好
T:hi,everybody. I’m your English teacher Grace.
2. Sing a song
导入主题weather,唱关于weather歌曲,激活学生兴趣。
Step2:Presentation
1. New words
出示“太阳,雨,风,雪等事物”向学生学问what’s this 并回答。然后询问天气How’s the weather 引出关于天气的单词:sunny,rainy,windy,snowy。
E.g. T: What’s this
It’s the sun.
How’s the weather
It’s sunny.
2. Sum-up
老师向学生总结单词规律:在sun,rain,wind,snow这些单词后面加上后缀y, 就可以变成形容天气的单词。
E.g. T: kids, when you add “y” after the words: sun, rain,wind,snow, these word will become the weather words that used to describe weather.
T: Now please read the words after me.
Step 3: Practice
老师设计两个小游戏,通过游戏达到巩固单词句型的作用。
Game1: Ask and answer
轮盘转动,停止说出how’s the weather
Game2: What’s the next weather
找规律,让学生更加熟记单词。
Step 4:Production
在学生熟练掌握天气句型问答的基础上,拓展相关天气下人们能够进行的活动。

Make a snowman on snowy day
Stay at home on rainy day
2. Look and match
Match the weather words to the activities.
