My brother is good at draw.
正:My brother is good at drawing.
解析:“擅长于做某事”应该说be good at doing something,不能说be good at do something。
The color and the sea plants color same.
正:The color is the same as the color of the sea plants.
Lucky is, have a man saved us.
正:Luckily (Fortunately), a man (someone/somebody) saved us.
I have interesting something to tell you.
正:I have something interesting to tell you.
Most students agreed his suggestion.
正:Most students agreed with him.
Because his family very poor,
正:Because his family was very poor,
and : 和、与
(1)Lucy and her mother often go shopping on weekends.
(2)Young people and older people do not always agree. They sometimes have different ideas about living, working and playing.
(3)The sun is bright, and the sky is clear.
(4)He left the company in March last year and went to Harvard as a visiting scholar.
(5)However ,they worry about their schoolwork and can't fall asleep quickly.
英语中“though”、“but”/ “because”、 “so”只能用其中之一,但汉语中“虽然……
Though it isn’t like a table, I like it very much.
It be + adj. (for sb) to do sth.
It takes sb.(some time) to do sth.
I find/think it +adj to do sth.
It`s time to do sth.
It was difficult to remember all the faces and names.
I think it hard for them to understand your joke.
It took the volunteers the whole afternoon to clean up the park.
当主句部分是“I don’t think” , “I don’t believe”, “I don’t suppose” 等结构时,翻译成汉语时,要注意 。
I don’t think he can pass the exam.
I don't believe that he can speak to the old so impolitely.
1.主语是单数时,尽管后面跟有with, together with, along with, as well as, like, but, except, besides, no less than, more than, rather than, including等介词短语,谓语动词仍用单数。如:
Mike with his father has been to England.
The students as well as the teacher were present at the meeting.
Their teacher and friend is Mr. Li.
The writer and teacher is coming.
(1)由or, either…or…, whether ... or ..., neither…nor…, not only…but also…, not…but…
Either my wife or I am going.
Not the students but I was wrong.
Neither you, nor I, nor anyone else knows the answer.
(2)there/here be句型be动词单复数取决于其后的主语。
Here are the boys I am looking for.
There is a book and three pens on the desk.
Twenty miles is a long distance.
Two months is a long holiday.
Forty dollars is too expensive for the book.

So, exam time is around the corner. Have you done the necessary work to get good marks 66. Sleeping with the textbook under the pillow(枕头) doesn’t work. Knowledge won’t come into your brain magically when you sleep. The best way is to space your practice out, rather than fill it all together. 67. You can start by reading a textbook with your favourite pens and colors, and then write down the important ideas on small cards. While doing so, you actually try to test yourselves on these small cards.
Good reviews will give you confidence, 68. but if you are still worried, it’s not harmful to follow some special customs. In China, when the kid takes the big exam, mum will always wear a Qipao. Qi, means “flag”. It’s the first character in an idiom(成语) that means “to win victory upon raising the flag”, and which has been suitable to wish students sweeping success on their exams.
In Japan, 69. The comfort food is made up of a bowl of egg and pork pieces named Katsudon. The name of the dish makes people think of the word “katsu”, meaning “winning”. 70. For some students in South Korea, the key to success is not washing their hair before an exam, because they believe they could wash all the knowledge out of their heads. And in different parts of the world, there are always those who believe in their “lucky numbers”.
The bottom line is that you need to study, eat a good meal, sleep well on the eve of the test, and believe that your efforts will pay off.

The world is not hungry, but it is thirsty. 66. It seems strange that nearly three fourths of the earth is covered with water. However, we say we are short of water. Why Because about 97% of water on the earth is seawater which we can’t drink or use for watering plants directly. Man can only drink and use the 3% —--- the water that comes from rivers and lakes. 67. And we can’t even use all of that, because some of it has been polluted.
Now more water is needed. The problem is: Can we avoid a serious water shortage later on 68. Secondly, we should find out the ways to reuse it. Scientists have always been making studies in the field. Today, in most large cities water is used only once and then runs to the sea or rivers. But it can be used again. Even if every large city reused its water, still there would not be enough. What could people turn to next
The sea seems to have the best answer. There is a lot of water in the sea. 69. All that needs to be done is to get the salt out of the sea water. This is expensive, but it’s already used in many parts of the world. 70. So you see, if we can’t find a way out, we’ll be in danger of drying up.

The girl couldn’t stop turning its pages. 67. Later, Zhong went to the US to study. 68. To her surprise, many of her American classmates were interested in traditional Chinese culture. Primary and junior high school students now are allowed to stay at school for two hours after school is over. Students can enjoy their hobbies or take part in other after-school activities.

Children can have all-round development at school, 66. and their personal growth will be taken more important than success.
When students leave school, they can see their parents, instead of their grandparents, waiting outside to pick them up. Students are happy about it, and parents, too.
“It’s good that I can come to pick up my son,” said Mrs. Wang, a mother of a second-grader. “67. I’ve bought extra exercise books for him to do since he has no homework now. I still need to know how well he has learned.”

Some are born deaf. Others can hear well in their childhood, but too many loud sounds hurt their ears later on.
Many people in China can’t hear common sounds clearly. A large number of them are children. Most of them are born with good hearing.
