“Is that your schoolbag ” 这是一个一般疑问句。一般疑问句要用yes或no来回答。
一般疑问句以be 动词、情态动词或助动词开头,用yes或no来回答的疑问句。本单元主要讲由be 动词引导的一般疑问句。其句型结构是:Be+主语+其他成分
Section A (第一、二课时)
肯定回答:Yes, 主语 + be.
否定回答: No, 主语 + be + not.
例如:

【注意】在英语中,“Is this / that... ”的回答,肯定形式用“Yes, it is.”(不能缩写);否定形式用“No, it isn’t.”。同样地,它们的复数形式“Are these/those... ”的回答,肯定形式用“Yes, they are.” (不能缩写);否定形式用“No, they aren’t.”。
含be动词的一般疑问句转换:将be动词(am, is, are)提到句首(首字母要大写),一般情况下,如果原句中的主语是第一人称,则其要变为第二人称,句末加问号。例如:

重点2 形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词的用法。
(1)形容词性物主代词修饰名词,放在名词前面,相当于形容词,在句中作定语,后面必须接名词,不能独立使用,只能和名词在一起使用。例如:

His sister is a student.他的妹妹是一名学生。
(2)名词性物主代词相当于名词(即指代名词),在句子中能独立使用,后面不接名词,它相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”。在句中作主语、表语或宾语。例如:
This is your watch. It’s not my watch.
= This watch is yours. It’s not mine. 这是你的手表,它不是我的手表。
(名词性物主代词=形容词性物主代词+名词。mine =my watch)

(1)表示有生命事物的所属关系,在名词后加“’s”来表示所属关系,意为“……的”。
①一般的单数名词在词尾加“’s”。例如:

②以-s结尾的复数名词在词尾加“’”。例如:students’ notebooks
