1.After our lesson on the environment, I’m worried about the future. 上完有关环境的课后,我对未来感到担心。
worried作形容词,意为“担心的,焦虑的”。be worried about(强调状态)意为“担心”,同义短语为worry about(强调动作)。例如:
They worry about the bad weather. = They are worried about the bad weather. 他们担心坏天气。

(1)waste的用法:

(2)recycle作动词,意为“回收利用;再使用”。re-是表示“重复;又”的前缀。类似的词还有reuse“重新使用”,rewrite“重写”,retell“复述”,rebuild“重建”等。例如:
We should recycle all our waste paper. 我们应该回收利用我们所有的废纸。
5.That means less waste. 那意味着减少浪费。
less可作形容词、副词,意为“较少的(地);较小的(地)”,是little的比较级。常用于less than,意为“少于”。例如:

You must have many textbooks. After graduating old textbooks are thrown away, which is a big waste of money and paper.
According to a survey, students across the country buy 2.8 billion(十亿) new textbooks every year. If the following year’s students could reuse these textbooks, it would save over 20 billion yuan per year. That’s enough money to build 40,000 primary schools.
Primary and junior high school students in several Chinese cities are reusing music, arts, science and IT textbooks. So we have to do something to stop it.
In fact, many countries already reuse their textbooks. In the US, book companies will come to schools and buy used books. They then resell them to new students the following year at a lower price.
