I visited the Great Wall with my sister last weekend. We got to the foot of the Great Wall at nine in the morning. We got on the wall and walked along it. It’s about 5 to 6 meters wide. Because it was built on the top of mountains, it goes up and down with the mountains. It’s so amazing. Standing on the wall, I thought how the ancient people built such a great project. From the guide I knew that the Great Wall had a history of over 2,000 years and most of the Great Wall that remains now was built in the Ming Dynasty. We watched beautiful views and took many photos there. We really enjoyed ourselves on the Great Wall.

It is very hot and dry in the Sahara Desert. The temperature there is usually 30℃. During the hottest months, the temperature can reach 50℃. Because of high temperatures and poor conditions, only a few plants live there. In the driest part of the desert, there are only 70 different kinds of animals.
Today the population is about 2,000,000 there. Most of them don’t live in cities. Instead, they move from place to place through the desert. Because of this, there are many different cultures and languages in this area.
