1.Greeting
T; Good morning, How are you today ? Are you felling awake and full of energy?
2.Review
Review some of the key concepts or information from Lesson 39.you can ask questions as below.
What was Danny’s report about?
What were some of the sports they did?
What was the name of the boy who won six events?
What kept Danny from running fast?
Step2. Present
1)Instruct the students to read the title of Lesson40
2)Ask the students some questions.

2.How do you move your body?
3.Can you write a poem?
Step3. Listen 1)Play the audiotape for Lesson 40. Play it once and ask the students to listen.
2)Play the audiotape a second time and ask the students to complete Exercise 1
3)Check the answers as a class.
Step4. Read
Independently work: Let’s do it! No.2
1)Instruct the students to read Lesson40 silently, and complete the true-or-false exercise independently
2)Discuss the answers as a class and correct the false statements.
