How to write it
Please write your draft for the body part.
In China, lunch is usually served at around 12 o’clock or even later. It is usual for us to have dinner at about 6 pm and we often eat it with our family.
Different from people in the West, we usually use chopsticks to have meals. The chopsticks are held in the right hand and the food is picked up by them. But the same as people in the West, Chinese people use the spoon to have the soup. In fact, there is also some food you can use your fingers to eat, such as some fruit and nuts.
At the start of the meal, if you prepare the gift for the host, you can give it to him/her. When you are at the table, it’s better to wait for the old. The host usually says “Help yourself” and then we begin a meal in China.
We can’t make noise while we are having the meal because it’s not polite. You can say “Thank you” to others when they offer you some food. If you are full, you can also say “No, thanks”.
It is sometimes difficult for you to leave at the end of the meal. You’d better wait for others and talk around the table with others. It is polite to say “Thanks for your hospitality ” to the host if you are invited to the meal.
