一、教学导入 Show some pictures about sports.Let the students answer the following questions: T:Hello,boys and girls.Have you watched the Olympic Games Ss:Yes./No. T:What did you watch S1:The beginning ceremony. S2:All kinds of competitions. T:What else do you know about the Olympic Games S3:It’s from Greece. S4:It has a long history. S5:It’s great and important. T:Why do you think it is important Discuss the questions in groups.Ask the students to talk for three minutes.Then let them present their talk in class. Step 2:Reading 1.Read the text and answer the following questions.
