教学目标
运用相关听力策略,理解对话内容,并能梳理有关英语学习的建议。 整理分析建议,提炼归纳语言学习的方法和积极心态,并意识到英语学习过程中坚持练习的重要性。 根据教师给出的评价标准,能结合所学提出恰当的学习建议,并进行评价。
教学内容
教学重点: 学生能提取概括语篇中英语学习的建议。
教学难点: 学生能依据情境,将提取到的学习建议整合运用。
教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up Show a video about problems from one of students in the teacher’s class. Watch the video, and find out what the problems are by filling the blanks.
Purpose: 通过身边的事例让学生有真实的语境,同时锻炼其听和问题探索能力。
Step 2 Before-listening Make students recall what difficulties they have in learning English. Use the sentence structures given to show their own problem.
Purpose: 引导学生选用正确的词语、句式表达个人观点。
Step 3 While-listening Show the conversation between Tony and his father. Show the two sentences of Tony, and think over why Tony said like this. Ask students to listen to what Tony’s dad said again and get the advice given. Further thinking: Is Tony’s Chinese really good already Why did his dad say like that 1.Listen and find out what’s Tony’s dad not good at and his way to make progress. 2.Guess why Tony said like this. 3.Listen again and list his dad’s advice. 4.Think over the question and guess the reason behind it.
Purpose: 能听懂主要内容,推断隐含信息,并合理表达自己的看法。
Listen to the conversation between Lingling and Betty. Listen to a specific part of the conversation and answer what the two think of the English corner. Listen to what Lingling said and pay attention to the stress, and tell the rules. Further thinking: what will Lingling probably do to continue to make progress in English 5.Answer the four questions. 6.Tell the information by filling the blanks. 7.Mark the stress while listening. 8.List the ways Lingling and Betty mentioned and make a believable guessing.
Purpose:
Step 3 After-listening Think about their own English learning, and their ways of learning. Review ways of learning English by using a mind-map. 3. Suppose the class is going to have a meeting on how to learn the subjects well, and you are going to talk about how to learn English well. 1.Think: is it easy or difficult to learn English List the good ways to learn it well. 2.Think out as many ways as they can to finish the mind-map. 3. Talk about what we learned by using the given structures.
Purpose:能根据具体的情境,运用所学的语言恰当地表达自己的观点态度。
Homework 1. Read the conversation in Part 3. 2. Talk about your progress in English with your partners and share your methods of learning English with each other.
