牛津深圳·广州版 九年级
阅读填空,目的是考查学生的语篇补全能力。它主要考查学生对文章整体内容和结构以及上下文逻辑意义的理解和掌握,同时要求学生理解句子与句子之间、句子与段落之间、段落与段落之间的关系。
阅读填空
命题形式
(1) 选材特点:阅读材料通常在250~300字之间;选材贴近学生的生活实际,时代感强。
(2) 命题原则:五选五(广州)、六选五(深圳)选项均为完整陈述句;涉及学生对语篇结构、文本、语言、逻辑、内容衔接的识别与解读。
(3) 题型分析:句子类型一般有段落主题句、起始句、过渡性句子或解释性句子。
解题技巧
方法一:内容分析法
阅读空格的前后句,看选项和原文间是否存在复现词汇、同义词汇、短语或是结构相似的句子,从选项中寻找与原文相关的关键词,确定答案。
方法二:逻辑分析法
看空格的上下文或选项是否存在表转折关系、因果关系、并列关系、递进关系等的连词,通过分析阅读材料与选项的逻辑关系,得出正确答案。

How do people find their inner(内在的) talent British writer and speaker Sir Kenneth Robinson talked about this at TED. He told a story about Gillian Lynne, a great dancer and choreographer(编舞者) who has worked in famous musicals like Cats and Phantom of the Opera.
Gillian Lynne never did well in school as a child. __1______Her mother was quite worried about her. She took Lynne to see a doctor. For 20 minutes, she talked about the problems Lynne was having at school with the doctor. Then, the doctor said to Lynne, “I need to talk to your mother first. Wait here.”

The Winter Olympics is a major international sports event held every four years. Unlike the Summer Olympics, the Winter Olympics feature sports practised on snow and ice.
As early as 1894, the newly-formed International Olympic Committee (IOC) considered ice skating as a possibility for the first modern Olympics which would be held in 1896.
In 1911, a member of the IOC suggested that winter sports should be presented as a part of the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm. Some were against the idea. __1______ However, World War I broke out in 1914. After 1920, several countries began talking about the possibility of a separate Winter Olympics.
The town of Chamonix, in the French Alps, planned to hold a winter sports festival in 1924. __2______ A member of the IOC suggested that the festival should be formally recognized as the Winter Olympics. __3______

The festival attracted 258 athletes from 16 countries to compete in bobsledding(雪橇比赛), figure skating, hockey, Nordic skiing and speed skating.
