基数词和序数词
1
序数词表示事物的顺序，是由基数词转变而来的，
通常与定冠词 the 连用。序数词构成规律为：
（ 1 ）一 ~ 三的序数词需单独记，分别为 first, second,
third 。
（ 2 ）四 ~ 十九的序数词由相应的基数词加 -th 构成，
但有四个词拼写不规则： fifth（第五）， eighth
（第八），ninth（第九），twelfth（第十二）。
语法复习
（ 3 ）整十的序数词由其对应的基数词变词尾的 y为 ie ，
再加 -th 构成。例如：twentieth（第二十），
fortieth（第四十），ninetieth（第九十）。
（ 4 ）非整十的两位数只需将个位数变成序数词即可。
例如： twenty-first（第二十一），ninety-ninth
（第九十九）。

拓展 基数词变序数词口诀
一、二、三，单独记，结尾字母 t, d, d；
八去 t，九去 e，ve 要用 f 替；
整十基数变序数，先把 ty 变成 tie；
若是碰到第几十几，前用“基”，后用“序”。

英语中日期的表达方式

1. 日期的表达方式
(1) 在英式英语中,日期在月份之前,如:15th August(8月 15 日),读作 the fifteenth of August。
(2) 在美式英语中,月份在日期之前,如:August 15th(8 月 15 日),读作 August the fifteenth。
(3) 用数字表达的方式中，日期由月、日、年三个部分组成，月份和日期用数字表示，如：8/15/2023 (2023 年8月15日)。
(4) 用月份缩写的方式中，日期由月和日两个部分组成，月份用英文字母缩写形式，如：Aug. 15 (8月15日)。
